Talk at 12. NGU Conference: Wissenschaftliche Praxis und Ökopolitischer Aktivismus

EnergyCultures, a Zeppelin University based research group of young academics, together with the junior group of environmental sociologists of the DGS, organized the conference „Wissenschaftliche Praxis und (öko-)politischer Aktivismus. Neue Perspektiven für die Umweltsoziologie“ at which different views on the relations of scholarly practices and eco-political activism were discussed.

In Esthers talk, she reflected critically on criteria of transdisciplinary Sustainability Science and what constitutes Scientific Research in transdisciplinary Sustainability Science as well as methodological challenges deriving for her own research on Sustainability Science.
